Road Test Service
Students who completed the 6 hour program with Golden Wheel Driving School have a scheduled Road Test with DMV.
On the permit you will find the scheduled Road Test Date/Time/Location
THIS SERVICE WAS NOT SCHEDULED WITH YOUR INSTRUCTOR AND CAN ONLY BE PROVIDED BY CONTACTING OUR OFFICE IN ADVANCE
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR DMV
Permit (cannot be laminated or taken apart)
Original US Birth Certificate or Valid US Passport or Permanent Resident Card
Social Security Card (cannot be laminated)
Written Test Card from Driver Ed Class or School
ID
School Report Card or Transcript

VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS
We have small and new Road Test vehicles.
Our vehicle will be used for our service
Those going on their own, go to NJMVC.GOV to check up to date requirement
The student will be picked up, given a thorough explanation of the Road Test, put behind-the-wheel to practice a simulated test. Wait in the DMV road test line (reguardless of the wait time). Take the DMV Road Test in our vehicle. Because of the possible computer issues and often extensive wait time to process a license at the DMV agency, Golden Wheel Driving School is unable to assist with the processing of the license. The student can be taken to the processing line and will then have to be picked up, or the student can be taken back home and go to any DMV Agency and process at a later time.
It is important to prepare and practice all the required test skills.
